Arbor was helpful to me in not only getting direct training for ministry but also seeing other areas of spiritual growth to work on. It helped me prioritize the important things while also helping me keep up on personal growth through podcasts, reading, and topic questions to talk with pastors about in the ministry.  I appreciated the program’s accountability as the mentor could see my progress, yet it also highly encouraged personal study, training, and growth.

STEPHEN R.

A successful internship depends on both the staff and the intern having a shared understanding of expectations. This program serves as a helpful template for guiding someone through a meaningful semester of ministry. It helps clarify goals, promotes healthy conversations, and gives a tangible way to track the intern’s growth.

TITUS T.

The Arbor internship was instrumental to my development and my preparation for full-time ministry. The structure of the weekly modules was helpful as it provided goals for me to accomplish each week. Having one-on-one discussions with church leaders about how I could improve was also one of the weekly highlights. I highly recommend this program as it gave me the best structure and resources to aid me in what God has called me to do!

JAMES F.

The combination of practical ministry, mentorship, and personal growth during my internship with Arbor made it one of the most transformative seasons of my life. The assignments and projects Arbor provided were practical and applicable—they stretched me in areas like time management, planning, and casting vision. The structure of the program supported both my personal development and my leadership growth. This program is not just about gaining ministry experience—it’s about being shaped into the kind of leader who can impact others for the Kingdom.
